Booking procedure is very simple. Get in touch with the management staff either by filling in the inquiry form, contact us form or calling/WhatsApp on +91 7829210166 to get your booking done.

Yes. We are accepting credit card payments for booking amounts. You can also use your ATM debit cards (Master/Visa/Electron) to withdraw cash.

The price mentioned is all inclusive of food, accommodation and yoga course. You do not need to pay any more for a private/shared room, water, Wi-Fi, food.

Due to security reason, we do not allow changing the name/person for whom the reservation has been done. The booking amount is non-refundable.

Once you have booked a seat with a minimum token amount, you can take up the course anytime within six months from the date of booking to any other location of Yogakulam Academy as well.

Ideally, we take registration amount ($210) initially to book a seat and on arrival, you need to clear the dues within 3 days. Generally, we avoid instalment options, but in some special cases, we do allow instalment options of maximum 2 instalments which need to be cleared in the first 2 weeks.

• The remaining payment is due on arrival.
• Cash payment is preferred, in any major international currency.
• To pay by credit card or PayPal, 4% extra will be charged to cover the commission fees on international transactions.

We serve only vegetarian food. We do not serve egg, meat, and fish during the course period

It is possible. We request you to do contact us after your booking is done for your special diet, so we can make prior arrangements and serve you better.

We take special care regarding your diet throughout the day, so you can feel and stay energetic entire day of the program. The food that we provide is Ayurvedic food, it is easily digestible, does not strain your stomach and high in nutrient value. The school will be serving you three meals a day, herbal drinks and two-time herbal tea.

Yes, we have a water filtration system installed in the school campus, which is maintained and cleaned or replaced regularly.

Yes, we do have the air-conditioned room available at an extra cost.

We provide two options for the students to choose from. You can choose between a private room or a shared room depending on your preference.

Yes, on special request that can be arranged. Two or three days prior or after the course can be accommodated (subject to availability) on advance request if any such arrangement is required.

Yes, you can have a friend or loved one to stay with you in your room only if its private room at an extra rate. Your guests are our guests, but we request you to ensure discipline in the campus at all times. And you will be responsible for any or all of their conduct.

The rooms are big, spacious with good ventilation. An attached bathroom with a cupboard and a coffee table is allotted to all the students. Please ensure that the campus property is not harmed

Some of the other facilities include:

• Weekly cleaning and bed-sheet change
• Attached commodes in the bathroom

Smoking, drinking, and drugs related activities are strictly banned inside the campus and may result in warning or action. Moreover, during your course, you will be going through a detoxification program, so we request you not to indulge in any of this kind of activities outside of the school premises too. Our campus gate closes at 10 pm. If you do happen to come late, please inform the management for the same so there could be someone to open the gates for you.

Kathmandu International Airport will be the closest Location for Pokhara, you can also take a 30 mins flight directly from Kathmandu to Phokara and For Varkala Teacher Training course, and the nearest airport will be Thiruvananthapuram Airport.

No, you will have to take a bus or cab from Kathmandu airport to Pokhara and train, bus or cab from Thiruvananthapuram airport to Varkala. Only return travel arrangements will be arranged.

You can also take a 30 mins flight from Kathmandu to Phokara. Train Service is not available from Kathmandu to Pokhara. So, you have to rely on a bus or cab to reach Pokhara, which is 200 km away from Kathmandu. By bus, it takes around 6 hours to reach.

Varkala is just 45 km away from Thiruvananthapuram. You can opt for the train, which will be the cheapest option and the most comfortable one, do check the trains available for your location. From the railway station, you can hire a taxi to Varkala town. Buses are also available but, it gets crowdie and tedious. Hiring a cab from Thiruvananthapuram airport can cost you under the US $24 for one way depending on the season. Online cab booking such as Ola and uber etc. are available.

Visa for India is a requirement, so please reach out to nearest Indian embassy near your location for a tourist visa and not a student’s visa while coming to India. It is only and only in Nepal that you get (tourist) Visa on Arrival.

Yes, the school management can arrange taxi services to nearby places.

Yes, school management does offer a scooter or bike renting facility. You can also avail two-wheeler via the online rental platform in India. We request you to inform the school management about your nearby traveling.

Recently, some of the occurrences have put India into bad limelight by the media for the safety of women, we agree crimes do happen like any other country. But contrary to these beliefs, Varkala & Pokhara in Nepal is a safe city, with less crowd and helpful people, you will find welcoming & friendly citizens. Varkala and Pokhara are being visited by foreign tourist all around the year, many have permanently settled in over these places, and they have been including our students has been going out exploring the city, market, place of interest by themselves. As far as women tourists are concerned, we have many women students from different countries who have been staying in our school and nearby places without fear. Crime is very rare and both foreigners and Indian people merge together to form a union and live in harmony.

Yes, both the cities have good hospitals and doctors who can be approached if needed. You can check the doctors and hospital by visiting practo for India.

Strictly No. The town has Proper garbage disposal and waste disposal systems and is quite efficient, ensuring that the area is free from germs and diseases. Also, sometimes as part of our Karma yoga initiatives, we conduct a thorough cleaning of the entire neighbourhood so as to keep the surrounding areas clean and hygienic.

Depending on the booking mainly, we do not take more than 20 and less than 10 for a single batch.

We recommend white colour during classes. Avoid wearing black. We request you to wear modest clothing.

We suggest you buy your own yoga mat according to your colour, thickness and brand preference.

No, not at all. All of our students are coming from different parts of the world like Spain, France, Italy, Ukraine, Bulgaria and so on. English is the most likely second language of them. The courses are easily understandable and teachers will help you with anything. The staff is accustomed to the foreign student’s language and will help you during your entire stay.

Our 200-hour yoga teacher training course is the very first certification in yoga, it is for the beginners having little to no knowledge but interest and dedication is a must. Our teacher will guide you from the very basic, very root of yoga. We have been training absolute beginners in our teacher training course. After obtaining 200-hour certification only, you can go for advanced courses like 300 hours and 500 hr YTTC

Moderately. Yoga does demand little flexibility sometimes for the specific pose, asanas. However, it won’t be like pushing you to the physical limit, we make sure you accomplish every training with ease and enjoyment.

You will be enabled to teach classical hatha yoga and kundalini yoga, yoga philosophy, meditation, pranayama, yoga therapy & anatomy as a certified yoga teacher. We distribute Yoga Alliance, USA certification which denotes that you have successfully completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course from Yogakulam Academy.

We have 24/7 Wi-Fi connectivity and also you can use your smartphone or laptop in off hours.

Our training is all-inclusive and includes accommodation, food, and training. Airfare is not included. We can arrange for your nearby site visit, rental two-wheeler, etc. with extra charges

In your free time, you can explore the town, sightseeing or spend time with other travellers if you like. We encourage you to take guidance from the staff because they know the area well.

We do not accept student less than the age of 16. In case, the student can be allowed under 16 years of age if they are with their parents or guardians providing the relationship proof. There is no maximum age limitation.

Yogakulam Academy only employs proficient, A-level, certified teachers who have prior experience of teaching in their respective fields.
